mImageViewer（以下「本アプリ」）は、利用者のプライバシーを尊重します。 本アプリは利用者の PC 上でローカルに動作するデスクトップアプリケーションであり、 開発者が利用者の個人情報を収集・送信・販売することは一切ありません。

収集する個人情報
本アプリは、氏名・メールアドレス・位置情報・連絡先などの個人を特定できる情報を収集・保存・送信しません。 アカウント登録やログインも不要です。開発者が利用者の利用状況を受け取ることはありません。
端末内に保存されるデータ
本アプリは、動作に必要な次のデータを利用者の PC 内のみに保存します。外部へ送信されることはありません。
- アプリの設定・表示状態
- サムネイルキャッシュ
- タグ・レーティング・回転情報・読み込み履歴
- PDF のパスワード（Windows の暗号化機能で暗号化して保存）
- リモート閲覧の暗証番号（そのままではなく、元に戻せない形に変換して保存）
- リモート閲覧の動作記録（表示にかかった時間などの数値と、開いたページの名前）

またはポータブル版では実行ファイルと同じ場所の data フォルダです。
アンインストール時に削除できます。
logs フォルダに残ります。
これも外部へ送信されることはなく、不要になれば削除できます。
ネットワーク通信
本アプリが外部と通信するのは、次の場合に限られます。
- 更新確認: 新しいバージョンの有無を確認するため、配布元（GitHub）の公開リリース情報を取得します。通常の HTTP リクエストのみで、個人を特定する情報は送信しません。
- 任意コンポーネントのダウンロード: 利用者が自ら選択した場合に限り、AI 高速化用コンポーネント等を配布元から取得します。
- リモート閲覧（既定では無効）: 利用者が自ら有効にした場合に限り、 PC 内で待ち受けを始め、利用者自身のスマートフォンやタブレットのブラウザへ画像を送ります。 待ち受けは PC の内部に対して行うので、外部から直接つながることはありません。 外出先からつなぐには、別途インストールする Tailscale を利用者自身が設定します。 画像やライブラリの内容が、開発者やその他の第三者のサーバーへ送られることはありません。
これらの通信先（GitHub / mikage.to 等）は、各社のプライバシーポリシーに従って 通常のアクセスログ（IP アドレス等）を記録する場合がありますが、 開発者がそれらの情報を取得・利用することはありません。
AI 機能について
AI によるアップスケール・ノイズ除去・補完・自動判別などの処理は、 すべて利用者の PC 内（GPU）で実行されます。 画像やその内容が外部のサーバーへ送信されることはありません。
解析・広告
本アプリは、アクセス解析ツール・広告を一切含みません。 利用状況やクラッシュ情報を開発者へ自動送信することもありません。
動作記録は、利用者自身が不具合を調べるために PC 内へ保存されるものです。 開発者がそれを受け取ることはありません。
第三者への提供
本アプリは個人情報を収集しないため、第三者へ提供する情報はありません。
リモート閲覧を外出先から使う場合に必要な Tailscale は、本アプリとは別の会社が提供する ソフトウェアとサービスで、利用者自身が契約・設定します。その利用は Tailscale のプライバシーポリシー に従います。本アプリが Tailscale へ利用者の情報を渡すことはありません。

mImageViewer ("the App") respects your privacy. The App is a desktop application that runs locally on your PC. The developer does not collect, transmit, or sell any of your personal information.

Personal information we collect
The App does not collect, store, or transmit any personally identifiable information such as your name, email address, location, or contacts. No account or sign-in is required, and the developer does not receive any usage data from you.
Data stored on your device
The App stores the following data only on your own PC; none of it is sent anywhere.
- Application settings and view state
- Thumbnail cache
- Tags, ratings, rotation info, and reading history
- PDF passwords (encrypted using the Windows data-protection API)
- The remote-viewing PIN (stored in a form that cannot be turned back into the PIN)
- Remote-viewing operation records (timings and similar numbers, plus the names of the pages you opened)
%APPDATA%\mimageviewer (installer / single-exe editions),
or in a data folder next to the executable (portable edition). It can be
removed when you uninstall the App.
logs folder on your PC include the locations of the files you
opened. These are not sent anywhere either, and you can delete them once you no longer
need them.
Network communication
The App connects to the internet only in the following cases:
- Update check: to see whether a newer version exists, the App retrieves the public release information from the distribution source (GitHub). This is an ordinary HTTP request and includes no personally identifying information.
- Optional component download: only when you choose to, the App downloads optional components (such as AI acceleration packs) from the distribution source.
- Remote viewing (off by default): only when you turn it on, the App starts listening inside your PC and sends images to a browser on your own phone or tablet. It listens on the PC itself, so nothing can reach it directly from outside. To connect while away from home you set up Tailscale yourself, which you install separately. Your images and the contents of your library are never sent to the developer or to any other third party's server.
These endpoints (GitHub / mikage.to, etc.) may record standard access logs (such as IP addresses) under their own privacy policies, but the developer does not obtain or use that information.
AI features
Upscaling, denoising, inpainting, and automatic classification are performed entirely on your PC (GPU). Your images and their contents are never sent to any external server.
Analytics and advertising
The App contains no analytics tools and no advertising, and does not automatically send usage or crash data to the developer.
Operation records are kept on your PC so that you can investigate problems yourself. The developer never receives them.
Sharing with third parties
Because the App collects no personal information, there is nothing to share with third parties.
Tailscale, which you need in order to use remote viewing away from home, is software and a service from a different company; you sign up for it and configure it yourself. Your use of it is governed by Tailscale's privacy policy. The App does not pass any of your information to Tailscale.
